Cameron Norrie secured the most notable success of his professional journey by rallying from a early deficit to beat top-ranked player Carlos Alcaraz with a stunning comeback in the second round of the prestigious indoor tournament.

While he had before beaten Alcaraz on two prior meetings, this triumph marks Norrie's first ever success over a sitting world top-ranked player.

The top seed looked to be advancing smoothly to success early on as he sailed in the first set. Nevertheless, the British contender slowly battled back into the match by delivering with greater precision and dragging the Spanish opponent into extended, physical points.
